Smoky Mountains

This rare suspension barn can be found in Cades Cove in the Smoky
Mountains.

While these millstones are no longer in use,
the mill, below, at Cades Cove operates daily.

                A mountain stream runs through the heart of Gatlinburg,
               a popular tourist destination in Tennessee, at the foot
               of the Smoky Mountains. Ducks, below, were swimming
               in the same stream, near the motel where Stan McKinney
               and his wife, Joan, stayed.

Deer and other wildlife are common in the Smoky Mountains.
